Chunky Waistcoat

Here is a NEW MK knitwear pattern and HK knitwear pattern to get you started with this January!

Machine Knitters

For you machine knitters this is the Chunky Waistcoat, as you can probably tell by the name it is knitted on the chunky machine, with chunky yarn. Although this sample was knitted with a combination of yarns to make up a chunky weight.

It is great fun to see what is in your stash and mix tones or contrasting colours together. It’s like making your own yarn!

A very simple pattern with basic shapes, so you can knit one or two up with quickly. It can be a great addition to an outfit to spice it up a bit! If you knit a few different colours then you’ve got one for every outfit.

There is no ribber needed and it comes in sizes S/M/L. Perfect for beginners!.
If you would like to get creative with your yarn stash then here is the Chunky Waistcoat.

Hand Knitters

Lily Sweater

For you hand knitters this is the Lily Sweater, a gorgeous HK pattern with beautiful details around the neck, really elegant and feminine knitwear.

This is a more intermediate pattern as there are more difficult parts to it. The front and back are knitted in one piece using garter stitch . Then there is a stand up collar with the added embroidery of lilies, to make it that extra special.

Of course, you could embroider anything around it, maybe bluebells or vines with flowers, just get creative.

It has dolman sleeves and is a shortish crop sweater, but you can knit it to any length that would suit you. It is knitted in double knitting 100% recycled cotton, so a really precious knit.
